Commented Unassigned: Adobe reader distribution [173]

Hi,

I am a very beginner in this so I am sorry for my possibly lame questions. :)
I've successfully packaged Adobe Reader 11.006 and distributed to my test computers so the package and the distribution are working fine.
In our company users usually use Adobe reader but approx. 25% of them use Foxit reader.

Which rule do I need to and how to configure to NOT to install Adobe Reader if there is no Adobe Reader previously installed on the computer?
(I will have a same problem with the java because only 10-15% of our computers running java and I don't want to install the latest on all of them but to update only the ones where they are currently installed)

I am a bit stuck with this because I find those rules quite complex.

Comments: Are you deploying the 11.0.06 only (msp)? Or are you deploying the .exe? If you are deploying only the 11.0.06 update you don't need to do anything, because it will only install on Computers with at least Adobe Reader XI. If you deploy the .exe file, you Need to define rules "if Directory exists than" and so on. Same for foxit and any other Software. Regards Norbert
