Commented Unassigned: Adobe reader distribution [173]

Hi,

I am a very beginner in this so I am sorry for my possibly lame questions. :)
I've successfully packaged Adobe Reader 11.006 and distributed to my test computers so the package and the distribution are working fine.
In our company users usually use Adobe reader but approx. 25% of them use Foxit reader.

Which rule do I need to and how to configure to NOT to install Adobe Reader if there is no Adobe Reader previously installed on the computer?
(I will have a same problem with the java because only 10-15% of our computers running java and I don't want to install the latest on all of them but to update only the ones where they are currently installed)

I am a bit stuck with this because I find those rules quite complex.

Thank you guys in advance.

Comments: I am installing the full Adobe Reader 11.006 and found a bit hard to define the rule. If I can get a bit help with this that would be wonderful. So I see that the installation folder is different on WIn 7 and on Win XP but there is a registry key which is the same on both platforms so I think I can use the Registry Key Exist rule. (HKLM\software\classes\applications\acrord32.exe ) Where do I need to configure the rule and how? Is it at the first rule windows where allow clients computer to determine if the update is already installed or Is it the second rule window where Indicate here the rule or rules that allow clients computer to determine if the update is installable. Should I use an AND or OR group? (what I tried so far is in under the installable option I added an AND registry Key Exist rule with the registry key above but then the computer didn't detect the update) I stuck a bit with this. :( Thank you! Imre
