OK, i use LUP/WPP since 3 Years, but never have had problems with publishing a MSI like you. ;)
Can you install the MSI manually at this Client? Did you edit the MSI with ORCA and change some settings? Are you using a Proxy for downloading? maybe the Proxy is changing the file.
