I have a custom update package which includes running a VB script to display a popup message at beginning and end of installation.
That have stopped working - The installation of the published software works fine and succeeds, but the message never displays.
I tried to create a new custom update with just the VB script popup and it never shows up and windows updates writes successful.
It works fine when I DoubleClick on the script.
Any ideas ?
Comments: Ok, i'm not sure what has changed as it worked before. The users aren’t admins, but the "Allow Users to Install Updates" GPO is effective. Is there any other way to show a popup message before installing ?
