The "Make it visible in Wsus Console" checkbox is grayed out and not available when importing updates from catalogs. I noticed this when importing the latest 14.0.0.125 today.
I am using version 1.3.1405.17, in Windows Server 2012 (6.2.9200.16384). In the previous version this option worked fine.

Comments: Two conditions needs to be met for this option to be available : In 'Tools' -> 'Settings' -> 'Server' tab : * The option 'Connect to local Server' need to be checked. (Wpp run on the Wsus server) * In 'When publishing a new update' part, the option 'Never make this update visible' must be NOT selected
