To address an issue with the Export of metadata on the WSUS server, we installed a hotfix from MS per article 2819484. Now the WPP console gives an error of "Server Version different from console version, you won't be able to publish any updates" when it is started. This happens with the latest WPP download. Is there a way to fix this?
Comments: This is the normal behavior. You can only specify 'Return Codes' for EXE files, not for MSI or MSP. WindowsInstaller have his own list of Return Codes.
