So in theory we could use WPP to create a custom update and export it to a CAB, send that to our code signing service who will return it signed with their cert, then re-import it for assignment to our PCs. Would it be possible to enhance the import feature of WPP to support the import of already signed packages so that we can benefit from the ability to create them and also satisfy enhanced security requirements for signing?
I'm happy to test the feature using the API on it's own if you would like more testing into whether it actually works, but for us at least it would be a valuable enhancement for WPP to support it through the UI so we could manage the whole process using one tool.
