Hi friends,
i would like to update my EMC networker client on windows server machines.
i have the setup.exe file and some supporting files to that software. i have created the update with the .exe file and i have added the supporting files folder in "add folder" option i can see the package at the client side end. If i click install its showing as installing, but its not installing.
Did i make any mistake while creating the package ?
can anyone please guide me.

Comments: When you run the update successfully, is it with Setup.exe within the folder you are adding or in the parent directory? You say you're using the "Add Folder" option, I haven't tested the "add folder" option yet, since all of my updates so far have used a flat directory structure, so I don't know how it behaves, but perhaps what's happening to you is that Setup.exe is supposed to be within the folder that you're adding, but since you used "add folder" instead of "add files" to add the files within the folder, when the cab gets extracted, you end up with .\Setup.exe .\Added Folder\[stuff] instead of .\Setup.exe .\[stuff]
