New Post: Issues with Adobe Flash and version Control

Hi,

We have been using Wsus Package Publisher now for nearly a year and it's great, however, we are running into an issue pushing out updated versions Adobe Flash Player.

For example

We push out Adobe Flash Player version 14 via Wsus Package Publisher to all users. Then about a week later Adobe push out version 15. Some users manually install version 15 as they receive a notification. When they reboot there machine, Wsus Package Publisher tries to install version 14 because its no longer detected.

This has caused a few issues with us because these machines get stuck with "windows installing update 1 of x" when starting up.

Is there a way Wsus Package Publisher that you can say, if there's a newer version installed, do not install?
