you have to use the 32-bit check box only when you install a 32bit software with test on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE...
- so when you install on windows 32bit, it will test HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE...
- and with windows 64bit, it will automatically test HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Wow6432Node\SOFTWARE...
