Commented Unassigned: Cannot Import Certificate [290]

Hello, I am trying to import a certificate into WPP on Windows Server 2012 R2 Core /w WSUS and am having an error message appear as soon as I click on "Load a certificate". The version of WPP I am using is v1.3.1508.08. I previously generated a self signed certificate before I tried importing and the same error appeared when I tried to import. I removed all of those certs from the Application Experience cert store, restarted the server and am still having this issue even though WPP no longer thinks a cert is installed.

Any ideas?
Comments: Can I manually import the cert into the application experience store and then manually tell WPP to use it?
