Hello Mark
Unfortunately for the moment we are not using all the update provided by PatchMyPC.
However, after having imported an update from the catalog, you can open the update folder with the "ID link". You will find the .EXE or .MSI in this folder.
Like vaguely explained in my first post, if the update use an update in an .EXE format, you will probably receive the error 80070643 even if the update is correctly installed.
The workaround, which I use, is to save the .EXE, export the package rules from the update, create a new update and import the .EXE and the rules manually.
I hope this could help you
Florent
