I just installed a W2016 Server and installed WSUS without problem. WPP Console ist starting without problems. But if you want to publish an update to the wsus console, it fails with , but if try to publish an update to WSUS Console, it fails with the following error code:
A network-relatet or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. (provider: Named Pipes Provider, error: 40 – could not open a connection to SQL server.)
Do you have any suggestions?:)
