Hi,
after using WPP via remote desktop directly on WSUS server for some years now, I tried now to use it on my local Windows 10 machine to manage/connect the WSUS server remote and no longer need to use remote desktop. I got it to run via SSL connection so I can see the manual created updates in the tree/list and also see the computers/groups etc..
But I cannot load the certificate to create/revise updates... When loading the certificate file (.pfx) by using the button "Load a certificate" I get the german message "Zugriff verweigert" (english translation: "Access denied") although the program language is still set to "English". So I suppose it's an system generated message by Windows itself. The file is accessibly and the entered password is correct (when entering a wrong password, another error message appears).
The used certificate is signed by own CA and works fine with WPP directly on local WSUS. The signing CA is also trusted on the Windows 10 machine.
Any suggestions to solve that problem or how to Import the certificate in WPP? Is there any debug log for WPP?
Where does WPP save the certificate? I could try to put it manually in the right location!
Thanks,
Oliver
