Right now wpp uses all the default update classifications when publishing updates (see screenshot). If one has a auto allow rules for those classifications in state in wsus, every custom gets automatically approved. It would be nice to have a custom update classification like Application or something similar. This would not get autoapproved by WSUS.

Comments: We will fall in the same problem. PackageType is a hard-coded enumeration, so can't be modify. I could surely add an option to prevent Wsus to apply Automatic Approval Rules to locally published updates.
