Hi, Usually this happen when ACL are wrong on the folder where Wsus store its packages. Look NTFS permission on this folder : x:\WSUS\UpdateServicesPackages If the folder doesn't exists, create it.

That's right. WPP, hasn't be design to run as a service. Additionnaly, catalog are not updated so frequently. And there is less and less Publisher to use catalog.
