New Post: Clean softwaredistribution folder failure with **** Unable to Mount the folder.
When I attempt to clean the folder on some PCs it fails with this error:
**** Unable to Mount the folder
I verified the PCs are configured properly.
It successfully stops the services and I am able to connect remotely.
How is it trying to mount\enumerate the folder prior to deleting it? This may be the key.
Thanks

Commented Unassigned: If i delete an update the WSUS DB crash [265]
Hi,
if i want to delete an Update from Wsus Package Publisher the WSUS DB ist crashed all the time. I try this serval times an always the Database is corrupt. Does anyone know why or is this an bug of the act. release ?
My Way :
Create an Update in WPP for example Adobe Inc
An delete this Update after publishing
After these steps i cannot create or delete an update anymore
My System : Windows 2008 R2 - WSUS 3.0 SP2
Comments: I try a reconnect an restart of WPP several times. And the Issue is still exists. > How do you check if the SUSDB is corrupt? The Eventlog tells me , the MSSQL$MICROSOFT##SSEE is corrupt. And i cannot deploy updates or wpp packages. My WSUS Version is (WSUS 3.0 (SP2) + KB2720211: Build 3.2.7600.251) i try to do an update but i cannot find any updates for the wsus.

New Post: Will SCCM 2012 see packages created with WPP?
Hi all,
I'm pretty new to the the topic of managing 3rd party updates.
Here's a short description of my environment:
Now I'm looking for a possibility to import 3rd party software updates (especially Adobe Flash Player, Adobe Reader 11, others might follow) into SCCM.
I already read about System Center Updates Publisher (SCUP) for SCCM, WSUS Package Publisher (WPP) and Local Update Publisher (LUP).
The problem is the decision which tool might be the right for my purpose.
I have seen on the one hand that SCUP supports Adobe update catalogs and import them via WSUS into SCCM. That's nice. But can I create own catalogs with SCUP?
On the other hand I have seen that with LUP and WPP I can create own Update catalogs based on msi, msp and exe files. This seems good for me. But will they be imported into SCCM after they are imported into WSUS? Or do I have to deploy these updates via Group Policy?
Any thoughts and suggestions are welcome.
Regards,
Michael

New Post: Will SCCM 2012 see packages created with WPP?
Hi, I don't have SCCM, but as WPP publish package into WSUS, I think SCCM can see these updates. Eventually, I will have to make these update visible into WSUS with the appropriate option.
Let us know.

Created Unassigned: Version 1.3.1504.15 not reading the MSI Product number [267]
The latest version do not read and enter or update the msi product #. I have gone back to version 1.3.1407.29 and when I create a new update the program will read the msi and enter default rules for if it is installed and can it be installed using MSI product installed and the product # from the msi file. When I create a superseding update it will take forward the rules and update with the new msi product #. The new version 1.3.1504.15 does not do either of these. When creating a new update both is installed and can be installed are blank and when creating a superseding update then old msi product # is still in the rules not the new number.
