I've installed the software, taken care of the certificates, added Adobe catalogs and approved a test using a Flash Player update. Now I'm waiting for the update to happen on my test computer.
What I really need is a better understanding of the operational side of the update process. How does it work? Am I correct that these updates won't show in the WSUS user console? Does WSUS refer the client to WPP to get the updates? Do the clients contact WPP directly without any involvement from WSUS? How does it all work? Is there a document that explains this process?
Thank you.
Comments: Thanks. This helped a lot. The updates now show in WSUS as approved. I'm just waiting for the test computer to process it. (Should do it tonight.) I downloaded and used the Adobe catalogs as they're a big part of why I'm using WPP. Any chance there's one for Java somewhere? Thank you.
